Account and Privacy Requests

Submit a request

You may request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, or transfer of eligible personal information, object to certain processing, withdraw consent, or ask a question about Sotero privacy practices. Available rights depend on your location and are subject to applicable legal limitations.

Email privacy@sotero.ai with the request type, the email address associated with your account, your country or state of residence, and enough detail for us to understand the request. Do not send your password, SSO tokens, access tokens, or other authentication secrets.

Available request types

• Access personal information Sotero holds about you.
• Correct incomplete or inaccurate personal information.
• Delete eligible personal information.
• Restrict or object to eligible processing.
• Receive eligible automated information in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format.
• Withdraw product-contact or other consent.
• Exercise applicable California privacy rights.
• Ask a privacy or data-security question.

Account deletion

A signed-in user can delete a public Sotero account from Account settings. Self-service deletion revokes active sessions and sign-in methods and marks the account deleted.

Limited account identity and associated EULA acceptance, consent, login, and download history may be retained for applicable legal, security, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, and software-license audit periods. Registering the same email address later creates a separate account and does not restore the deleted account. You may submit a separate privacy request regarding other eligible information.

Identity verification

Sotero may request information needed to confirm your identity, residency, account ownership, or authority to act for another person. This protects personal information from unauthorized disclosure or deletion. We may also ask for clarification needed to respond efficiently.

An authorized agent may make an applicable request when sufficient written authorization and identity information are provided. Sotero cannot process a request without enough information to understand it and verify the requester’s authority.

Fees, timing, and limitations

Requests ordinarily do not require a fee. Sotero may charge a reasonable fee or decline a request that is clearly unfounded, repetitive, or excessive, where permitted by law. We respond within a reasonable timeframe and within any shorter period required by applicable law.

Privacy rights are not absolute. Sotero may retain or continue processing information where permitted or required for legal compliance, accounting, reporting, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, defense of legal claims, or proof of software-license acceptance. If a request cannot be fulfilled, Sotero will provide the explanation required by applicable law.

Marketing choices

You may unsubscribe using the method included in a marketing email or contact privacy@sotero.ai. Withdrawing optional product-contact consent does not prevent you from signing in, accepting an applicable EULA, or downloading software for which you remain eligible.
